Monthly Empties - June

This month just went by so fast, I have been really busy with uni exams and essays. But now it's over and I have a bit of time to relax. I have had quite a few of opened products laying around and I made myself a list of what I need to finish before I open any thing else. Let's see what I manged to finish.

Berrisom 8 in 1 Eye Cream - 30ml
This took the longest time to finish, mostly because it's 30ml which is a lot of product for an eye cream. It claims to be an all in one product, but really I have not noticed any difference. The only thing I like about this product is the packing, which I think is the best way to package eye cream.

Elixa Multi Action Eye Serum - 15ml
Claims to reduce dark circles and puffy bags. It has a gel texture that absorbed nicely into the eye area and I could layer eye cream and concealer and it doesn't ball up. But other than that it did nothing for me.

Skin79 Diamond Absolute Total BB Cream - 40g
This brand was the first type of BB creams that I tired and I was so happy with them. Now that I have tired my fair amount of BB creams I find this BB cream to be too grey for my skin. It's also a bit too drying for me in winter.

Etude House Aloe Moistfull Soothing Gel - 300ml
My baby nephew had a really bad rash all over his body and face, the doctor prescribed him different ointments but they just weren't working for him. I decided to use this on him because it's just Aloe Vera. We gave him a bath and then applied this all over his bod and face. Within a few hours his skin was a lot better and the rash seemed to clam down, we continued to use for another 3 days and he was all better. I then started using it as a toner during summer and I really did not notice anything but it does feel cooling.

Queen Helen Mint Julep Natural Facial Scrub - 170g
A nice scrub, leaves face soft and smooth. but since I have been using chemical exfoliants I have not been reaching for these type of scrubs. This is not available locally in Australia making it kind of a hassle to buy it.

Yanagiya Horse Oil Hair Cream - 140g
When I first started using this I loved it, it made my hair soft with defined curls and managed the frizz. But sadly its not giving me the same results any more. Which is a shame since it's really light and does not weigh my hair down or make it greasy looking.

Lush Honey I Washed the Kids Soap - 114g
I went through a little phase late last year and I was crazy for anything Lush. Having never tired Lush before I had to try their best seller, while I do love the scent of this soap. It has a really nice lather to it but what's putting me off is the price. I just find it crazy that this cost me $7.92, for me this is crazy for a bar of soap.

La' Rose Apricot Facial Scrub - 500ml
Mum bought this while she was on holiday in Dubai. It's meant to be a facial scrub but I find it to be way to abrasive, so I used it a body scrub and it' fine nothing special.

Avon Soft Musk Body Cream - 50g
This was in one of my handbags and God knows how long it has been it there. But it's a nice sized cream that I use for my hands. It's nice but not really moisturizing for winter time.

Bath & Body Works Moonlight Path Body Lotion - 236ml
Why do we not have a BBW in Australia?? I love this because the scent makes me wanna use it everyday, which it great for me because I'm really lazy with applying body creams. It's very light in texture but leaves my skin nicely moisturized. I bought is through a forwarding company.

DR. BSC 3D Collagen Eye Cream - 15ml
This eye cream is actually a gel and while it has a really clean ingredient list, it stinks. What makes it even worse it that the scent lingers on for quite a while. I had to force my self to use it because I just hate wasting products. Despite it's clean ingredients it did nothing for me besides moisturizing, but I can find a million eye creams that can do that without been stinky.

Essence 2 in 1 Volume Mascara - 10ml
This is one of those two looks kinda mascara. The first look is supposed to be a defined volume but it hardly had any product and the second look is meant to be an 'oversized' volume but it picked up way too much product and clumped up. I mostly used the first look to brush over other mascaras to get a more natural look.

RG II Premium EX Toner + Emulsion - 30ml
These both have a really strong floral scent. The toner is more like a gel and I did find it moisturizing, it seems to smooth over my face just a primer. I found the the emulsion to be more like a cream, in fact I used less cream because of how moisturizing it was. I liked using the emulsion more than the toner.

Isa Knox MX-II Platinum Toner + Emulsion - 20ml
The toner is very thick in texture but absorbs fast with out leaving any residue. The emulsion was a struggle to get out of the bottle and I'm glade that the full sized bottle has a pump. It's very thick but also absorbs fast. They are more suited for dry skin types.
Kracie Ichikami Shampoo and Conditioner -  40ml
The shampoo was really gentle and did not cause my hair to dry out like most shampoos do. The conditioner was not moisturizing enough for me. They both had a light apple scent to them.

IOPE Moisture Skin Cleansing Foam - 15ml
Despite the size this cleanser, it lasted me for a long time because you only need the tiniest amount to get a really strong lather. I did find it to be a bit drying and only used it, when I had a full face make up.

Murad Renewing Cleansing Cream - 45ml
Unlike most cleansing creams I did find that this one seemed to foam up just a tiny bit. I really enjoyed using this in the mornings.

I hope I didn't bore you guys with all of this.

Love,
Sakura
