Sorry for the lack of posts, I made the stupid choice of doing some summer units. Now I have been stuck with loads of essays and presentations. I just wanted to quickly do this post and then return to finishing my uni work :(
I really cannot believe it is December already, this year has gone in a flash for me, maybe it because I have been so busy with uni. Anyways let's dig in.

Espoir Water Splash Sun Cream
Spring is finally here and while we got some very hot days here in Sydney, it certainly felt like summer. I have an obsession with sun cream, I apply it every signle day. Whether is sun, hail, rain or anything in between and the reason why is because it has become a habit for me. Also because I'm prone to freckles, and while some love freckles, I hate them and I have come to the solution of sun cream. Over the years I have found that applying sun cream prevented any new freckles from forming. Anyway back to today's post, I will be reviewing the Espoir Water Splash Sun Cream
SPF 50+ PA+++.

Evening Skincare Routine
Today, I thought I should do a blog post on one of my favorite posts that I enjoy reading, which are skincare routines. I love reading about new products and how they work for other people. As you may already know, I love trying out different brands of skincare products. I have still not found my all time holy grails, the reason why is because I just tend to get wanna try something new. I have split my skincare routines into a morning and evening posts. Let's start with the evening one first.

I just could not resist a 40% off sale on Cherry Culture. The first make up items that I every brought were from that site, hello NYX lipstick and lipglosses. They now sell Beauty Blender and China Glaze! Yes, I brought the Beauty Blender and China Glaze nail polish at an unbelievable price.

Tarazz Haul
My dream shopping site has to Sephora, sadly they don't have any stores in Australia and they don't ship to here either. So when I first saw a site that allowed Aussie buyers to order from Sephora and other leading US sites. I will, admit I thought it was a scam, and when I googled for reviews about the site I didn't find a lot of reviews. So I didn't want to risk it, but when they had a deal for $10 shipping if you ordered from Sephora, through their site, I thought why not.

HopShopGo Haul #3
I don't know about you but I just seem to wanna buy a product more if it's not available where I live. Which is why HopShopGo.com, which is a forwarding company, has became my latest obsession. This is my third time shopping with them and this time I didn't go that crazy.
Isa Knox MX-II Platinum Ultra Moisture Lotion
I'm back again, and this time I'm reviewing the Isa Knox MX-II Platinum Ultra Moisture Lotion. I did an over view on the whole line a few posts ago, here. Before I begin, my skin type is very dry and during winter my skin gets very very dry and has an almost tight feeling. I also tend to suffer from dry patches on my cheeks and around my mouth area.

Isa Knox MX-II Platinum Skincare Line
If you know me, you would know that I have a huge passion for skincare. I just love taking care of my skin. I also spend almost all of my earnings on skincare. My parents say I have an addiction because I cannot control myself from doing this. Anyway, let's get back on track. I have been using this skincare line from Isa Knox and I wanted to do a little over view on the line. I will then review each item individually.

Methode Swiss Whitening UV Cream
As most of you know that whitening skincare is really popular in Asia, and while I do like using products that contain whitening ingredients I have grown to dislike using whitening skincare during the day and reserve them for night time. This way I can be sure that no other factors like the sun, weather and SPF are working against the effects of that product. However, I didn't always think that and this why I ended up with the Methode Swiss Whitening UV cream.
Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer
Sorry for the lack of posts, but I have been really busy with uni plus our internet is not working properly. Anyway, I wanted to review this product from Rimmel a long time ago, this product has been raved about all over the world from the UK to the USA and now they are finally here in Australia. But are they really that great??

Priceline 40% off Sale
Sorry for the lack of posts lately, but I have been super busy with uni and I still have 3 essays due :`(
Priceline had a massive 40% off all skincare, which is a big deal in Australia because everything is so much more expensive in Australia. I popped into my local Priceline on my way to uni and since it was just 9.30am the store was really clean and well stocked. I headed to the Indeed Labs. section first and grabbed two packets of the Hydraluron.
I have also been wanting to try out the Trilogy Rosehip Oil, I have heard so many good things about it plus it's organic. I also grabbed two facial oils from Sanctuary Spa the Firming Youth Serum and the Lipid Recovery Facial Oil and the Hot Sugar Scrub also from Sanctuary Spa. I also walked past the Nude by Nature section and noticed that their Papaw ointment was also on sale. I checked the ingredients list and there was no mineral oils in it.
Comment and tell me what did you purchase from the Priceline sale?
Love,
Sakura

Priceline 40% off all skincare
Hey ladies as you may already know that Priceline is having a massive 40% off all skincare products. For the next two days, Tuesday 30th and Wednesday 31st, I bet that it would be crazy in store and online. I'm not going to bother with online ordering any more because I'm sure it would be just like the time they had 40% off cosmetics. I only need want a few items, mostly the Hydraluron serum which has been raved about so much.

Shiseido Benefiance Concentrated Anti-Wrinkle Eye Cream
As we all know that the eye area is the first part of the face that begins to show the signs of aging. When it comes to skincare I believe that prevention is better than curing later on. I also believe that it is never too early to start using an eye cream, just make sure to buy one that is most suitable to your age and your concerns. I should point out that must Shiseido products are really expensive in Australia and I have not tired many products from them. I also never purchase any high end products in Australia without them being on sale. This cream retails for $55 to $77 and I couldn't justify they price, so when I saw it on sale for $35 on Sasa.com during the International Women's Day Sale. I just had to have it.

My Winter Must Haves
It's winter time in the land Down Under, while we did get a few beautiful warm days mostly it has been really cold here in Sydney. I'm really glad that I have a Uni break right now, because I get really lazy during winter and just want to stay in bed all day in my PJs and catch up on some books. Let me get to the point of this post, which is my skincare must haves right now. We all know what winter can play havoc on our bodies, with dry cold winds outside and blasting up the heater and standing under hot hot showers, and drinking way too much coffee trying to keep warm.
While I love the winter time it's an enemy to my body because I have very dry skin. But lately I have have noticed that my skin has been looking pretty good, with no ugly dry patches at all. And I really think it has something to do with these changes.

Monthly Empties - June
This month just went by so fast, I have been really busy with uni exams and essays. But now it's over and I have a bit of time to relax. I have had quite a few of opened products laying around and I made myself a list of what I need to finish before I open any thing else. Let's see what I manged to finish.

Etude House - Look at my Nails
I just wanted to quickly get this post out, because Etude House are having a sale and these are really cheap. Just last year I had less than ten nail polishes, I just wasn't that into nail polish. The reason is, my nails have always been weak and brittle and also I had no patience for the polish to dry! Fast forward to now and I have two trays of nail polish, I have brought fast drying top coats and now I enjoy painting my nails.

Mizon Black Bean Anti-Aging Mask
I'm a mask addict, be it clay, jelly, cream or sheet masks. I just love laying down with a mask on and relaxing at the end of the day. I have an entire drawer dedicated to my masks, that my fellow beauty friends is what I call an obsession. I admit that I own much more than I would ever need, which is why my mother never buys masks for herself!
MIZON is a new Korean brand for me, and when I first spotted their shop on G-market I was drawn to their products and the affordable prices. I also saw that Hope In a Blog has tired a few products from them and this gave me the push I needed to try them out.

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer
I know that I'm very late with the Rimmel Apocalips because they were/are making up waves on the beauty blogging world. They are still not available in Australia, which is why I decided to get them from online. During on of ASOS's sale they were selling these for about $5 which is bargain considering that shipping is free.. I jumped right on and ordered five.

Secret Key Starting Treatment Essence
Unlike other Korean skincare/cosmetic brands, Secret Key is not very well known outside of Korea. The brand mainly consists of skincare products with a few cosmetics products too. Late last year they came out with the Starting Treatment Essence which is their 'version' of SK II Facial Treatment Essence. While Secret Key mainly sell affordable products, they have recently been releasing more expensive skincare.

G-market Haul #8
Hey long time no G-market haul, I haven't make a G-market haul in almost three months. The reason was that I have been spending my money on more local websites like Ozsale.com.au, which have left me very disappointed. Anyway, I was 'browsing' the site when I noticed that Missha now ship internationally and they were having some great offers too. Etude House also caught me eyes, but they also do with their super cute products, they were having 50% off all their nail polish products. This time I only brought from two sellers, which made delivery very quick.
I really love how fast shipping is at G-market, order was placed on the 30-05-2013 and it arrived on the 06-06-2013. I don't think I have ever received a package faster than this. Keep up the good work G-market!!

REVIEW - Chosungah Luna Blending Cheek
Part of the Chosungah Luna Petit Peach collection is the Blending Cheek, which is a cream blush. The Petit Peach Collection is about the 'baby' face look, which is a very cute look if done right. But I do think that the whole collection is very easy and safe to play around with. The colllection comes with only one shade of blusher and this is it.

REVIEW - Chosungah Luna Up Lighting
The highlighter is one of those products that can make you look amazing and give you a really dewy look. But it can also make you look like a disco ball and very oily. Finding a highlighter that is not loaded with glitter and shimmer is believe it or not very hard. When shopping for makeup I'm very picky with the highlighters that I buy.

HAUL: Priceline.com
Today I received my package from priceline.com when they had the 40% off sale, I know I did go to the store but I did not find most of the items on my list. So later on that night I checked the Priceline website and it was working, very slow but working so I decided to get what I wanted which was mostly nail polish.
HAUL: CherryCulture.com
When I first started getting into make up, I remember that NYX was a huge hit in the beauty world. Youtube gurus were raving about the NYX round lipsticks and how great they were and how cheap they are, but since NYX is not sold in Australia I 'stumbled' onto Cherry Culture.com. Oh man I was in beauty heaven, back then I was fresh out of high school and about to entry uni with no job so imagine my surprise when I saw how affordable everything was. Over a year I collected more NYX lipsticks then I would every need, they were always on sale for $1 or less and I swear to God the shipping was so much more cheaper.

HAUL: Ozsale.com.au + Revlon
Ozsale is a flash sale website, which I'm sure you have all heard about. I'm a member but honestly I have never really been into the whole site until recently. Two weeks ago they had a Revlon and Almay beauty sale and it was just at the right time because they had Revlon nail polish for sale at $3-4 each, I mean that's a bargain right? So since I was trying to build up my nail polish collection I placed an order.

HAUL: Priceline 40% off Sale
Living in Australia means that us girls are deprived from cheap drugstore make up. If you are not from Australia then chances are you won't understand the madness that happened the last two days. Priceline posted on their FaceBook wall that they will be having 40% off ALL cosmetics, and all hell broke loose. I really wanted to get some things, but their website was down for most of the time and I couldn't get to a Priceline store on the first day.
After trying to place my order online a few times and failing to do so, I planned to go on day two of the sale. Just as I expected the store was jam packed full of aggressive women and nearly everything on my list was out of stock :(. The shelves were empty and a complete mess, but on the plus side the sale assistants were really helpful. I still managed to walk out of the store with 17 items costing me a little under $100! I was so surprised when I ordered from Walgreens + paid for the forwarding charges the items were STILL much more cheaper.

REVIEW - Covergirl Lip Perfection Lipstick
Covergirl is just one of these brands that I just don't pay a whole lotta attention to, or it could be that they don't draw me in. I have never owned and Covergirl products till now. These lipsticks are not new releases but they were raved about so much in the beauty world. So while I was ordering for family/friends from Walgreen's, I saw that they had a buy one get one 50% off and they were already discounted plus Walgreen's had a $10 off when you spend $50 or more. Bargain, man you gotta love American prices.
REVIEW - L'Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Aqua Lacquer Lipgloss
The L'Oreal Colour Riche Caresse Aqua Lacquers have created quite a buzz in America and other countries and now they have been released here in Australia. These babies have been compared to the YSL Glossy Stains, which I don't own so I cannot give you my comparison. L'oreal describes these as "The next generation lip colour, that combines the texture & shine of
a gloss with the long wear of a stain. Delivering a lasting colour with
a subtle glossy shine".

REVIEW - Clinique Super City Block SPF 40
As you may already know I religiously apply sunscreen whether it's sunny or rainy, it has just become a habit for me. I have always opted for sunscreens with an SPF that is higher than 40. I'm always trying out new sunscreens, so today I will review Clinique's Super City Block SPF 40.

REVIEW - L'oreal Colour Riche Le Gloss
Lip gloss is probably what all of started with. It was also what I started with too and I remember felling so much pettier when I applied. Then I started to get more interested with cosmetics and moved onto lipsticks, they dried my lips out and so now I'm in love with the whole hybrid lipstick/lip balm. I last time I purchased lip gloss was maybe 3-4 years ago. So I have decided to try them again.

REVIEW - L'oreal UV Perfect SPF 50 PA+++
Sunscreen is a major part of my daily routine and I'm constantly trying out different ones all the time. I prefer using Asian sunscreens instead of the sunscreens sold in Australia. This is because overtime I have noticed that Asian sunscreens were much more lighter in application and don't make me as oily as Australian brands.
Anyway, today I will be reviewing the Asia exclusive L'oreal UV Perfect SPF 50 PA+++. The L'oreal UV Perfect is tailor made for Asian skin, with patented Mexoryl SX and XL that provide optimal UVB and reinforced UVA protection.

REVIEW - Chosungah Luna Blending Foundation
Chosungha Luna is a Korean makeup brand and you would most likely not have heard of it if you live outside of Korea. The brand has a few different collections but the brand is very unknown because they don't even have a website. But if you know me, then you would know that if a product is not available locally then I strive even harder to obtain it. That's what I did, I don't understand Korean but I searched so much on G-market until I found what I wanted.
Petit Peach collection by Chosungah Luna came out in 2010 I believe but you can still find it on G-market. I brought this set about one and half year ago, but have not used it till now. I have been using the Blending Foundation and have been loving it so much I thought I should review it for you guys.

REVIEW - Maybelline Color Whisper Lipstick
Who loves lipstick? I do, very much. Who love lip balms? me me, I do. I love a pop of colour on my lips but most lipsticks can be a bit to drying for me. As for lip balms, I have a huge collection because I just love how they keep my lips so soft and smooth. Girls used to apply lip balm underneath their lipsticks in order to keep their lips soft all day long. Well now we don't need to that because hybrid lipsticks have been all the rage lately. With Revlon setting the world crazy with their Lip Butters and then L'oreal hit back with their Colour Riche Balms, so it's only acceptable the Maybelline come out with their take on this trend. My only question is why did it take them so long?? Introducing Maybelline's Color Whispers the new guys in they the hybrid arena.
